"An exciting period full of different experiences"
What were you doing before becoming a trainee on a Cyfle scheme?
I was working in the education sector, first as a primary school teacher for around 8 years then as a headmistress for about 13 years before I decided to completely change my career path and develop new skills in a new industry.
How did you hear about Cyfle, and what were your expectations?
After completing a few weeks supply work with Cwmni Da, and having had a taste for the industry, I saw the advert in a newspaper regarding the Cyfle scheme and wanted to apply. The production secretary trainee role appealed to me the most.

Which aspects / elements of the work have you enjoyed the most?
I feel like I have been a vital part of the team during my placement, and that I have received excellent support and guidance from my colleagues. The main aspects of my work that I enjoy involves:
- Researching sources and issues involving copyright
- Organising paperwork and contracts
- The satisfaction of finishing all of the paperwork tied to a programme.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What would you have liked to achieve by then?
Continuing to develop my skills and to specialise in specific areas such as copyright, and familiarise myself with certain aspects of contracts and the paperwork related to this.
