Latest Cyfle Film and TV Talent About to Enter Industry
We are proud to announce the success of all 14 talented trainees who will be completing their New Entrant training with Cyfle on the 4th of December, ready to become fully fledged members of the Film and TV industry.
These schemes are –
- 12 Month Film Industry Training Scheme for New Entrants 2008-2009 (funded by Skillset Film Skills Fund, S4C, TAC (Welsh Independent Producers) and DCELLS (WAG)
- 12 Month Diversity New Entrants Training Scheme for TV 2008-2009 (funded by the Skillset TV Freelance Fund, S4C, TAC (Welsh Independent Producers) and DCELLS (WAG)
Both schemes included full time role-specific vocational training on relevant film and tv productions, as well as within companies and organisations. They also provided any necessary practical training in the form of short courses, as well as intensive induction and exit programmes designed to give the trainees as much information and training as possible.
All trainees also received weekly training allowances, individual training plans, and mentoring by industry practitioners.
Industry Placements
Industry placements are an essential and integral part of Cyfle’s New Entrants Training schemes, and these are no exception. Throughout the year trainees have received on-the-job and off-the-job training from top industry professionals both in Wales and further afield.
