4 Day iOS Apps Development Course
A NEW 4 day course assisting company staff/freelancers to develop, test and register with iTunes a substantial App that can promote the company, programme, event etc.
No previous experience necessary!

Day 1
The App developer programme and signing up
Exploration of App possibilities:
- What are similar organisations doing?
- What is possible?
- How long does it take?
Planning an App:
- Features
- Navigation
- Layout
- Resources required
Day 2
Creating the required resources for the App:
- Media: Audio/Video
- Icons
- Artwork
Creating the Layout
Day 3
Using Xcode to create the App
Do initial bug fixes
Day 4
Testing the App and making improvements
Marketing and pricing
Submission to iTunes Connect and App Store

Who should attend? –
Those with an interest in learning the basics about iPhone and Ipod Touch App development. No previous programming or development knowledge is necessary.
Course can be run in Welsh or English (Depending on demand)

Skillset Cymru Bursaries
Skillset Cymru Bursaries are grants for individuals working in the Welsh TV industry to spend on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training.
They are managed by Skillset and the funding comes from the Welsh language broadcaster S4C and the trade association Teledwyr Annibynnol Cymru (TAC).
There are two funding schemes, Skillset Cymru Freelance Bursaries and Skillset Cymru Bursaries for Editors.
Tutors
David Baugh, Learning in Touch
David Baugh is a primary trained teacher with classroom experience of teaching students aged 5 – 18 as a school ICT coordinator and LA Advisor for Denbighshire with responsibility for all aspects of ICT and eLearning in 65 schools. He is now the an independent trainer, author and adviser for ICT working for a wide range of organisations.
He has been an Apple Distinguished Educator for 9 years and is a Apple Certified Trainer. He was the winner of the Teaching Awards Creative use of ICT in 2000 and BECTa’s ICT in Practice awards in 2001.
He has an interest in the development of creativity in education especially with reference to its relevance to the use of digital media in the classroom. This interest has led to long term investigations into the use and best practice of Digital Video and multimedia in education and its role in the creative learning process.
Most recently he has authored and developed the Digital Cre8or Award which a Level 1 and 2 qualification equivalent to the ECDL that allows students and teachers to get accreditation for the creative use of digital media (www.bcs.org/digitalcreator).
The Learning in Touch is a registered Apple Regional Training Centre (mobile)
